The de-facto referendum for universal suffrage in Hong Kong

I am proud of myself because I was one of the 579,000 persons who voted at the by-election on May 16, 2010 which was a de-facto referendum for universal suffrage in Hong Kong, despite the pro-Beijing establishment's repeated attempts at sabotaging it.
